Yale-New Haven Hospital is proud to offer nursing professionals the opportunity to rise to the top of their field in three distinct ED environments. Our Adult ED is one of only six Level I Trauma Centers in the state of Connecticut, and features 26 cubicles, 2 trauma bays, a 4-bed chest pain center, a 5-bed Urgent Care/Fast-Track, and a secure 8-bed Psychiatric Crisis Intervention Unit.
Next door, our Pediatric ED – the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Connecticut – provides highly specialized services to more than 26,000 patients every year. And at the Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford, CT, our emergency services team provides triage and care for both adults and children in a beautiful, brand new, state-of-the-art facility.
